Learning at Home
We expect all children to read their reading book at home at least three times a week to support their learning.

Each year group will also have six 'Teach Your Parent' activities per term linked to their wider curriculum learning. These are to enrich your child's wider knowledge and support you with further learning at home and are optional to complete.

This half term the Nursery children have been learning about animals. We have read lots of stories including Poo at the Zoo, SHOO! And Farmyard Hullabaloo. We were very excited to have the Mini Farm at school, and we had the chance to meet chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, guinea pigs and donkeys. We were very brave and fed lots of the animals.
To celebrate pancake day, Miss Taylor made us some pancakes! She tossed the pancakes really high. We sprinkled on sugar and lemon and they were delicious.
We have also learnt about the Muslim festival Eid. We created Eid decorations and made cards for our friends and families. We learnt that Eid is a time to share and spend time with family.
