Learning at Home
We expect all children to read their reading book at home at least three times a week to support their learning.

Each year group will also have six 'Teach Your Parent' activities per term linked to their wider curriculum learning. These are to enrich your child's wider knowledge and support you with further learning at home and are optional to complete.

This term the children have enjoyed lots of learning around life cycles, growing and how we can keep ourselves healthy; including a visit from a dentist. Reception also took part in pottery week showcasing their skills in our end of year display. This term in PE the children have also been practising for their end of year sports day to showcase their skills of navigating space, running, and balance and control. In maths we have embedded our learning on doubles, number bonds to 10, shape and odd and even numbers using different manipulatives in provision and during taught sessions. Reception have had a fantastic year and as this year comes to an end the children will be able to share their thoughts and worries about transitions into Year 1 and will have had the chance to meet their new teachers. Well done Reception for a wonderful year!
