This half term, the children in Nursery have been learning about different celebrations. We have talked about birthdays and how we might celebrate, we made playdough birthday cakes and added candles by counting carefully.
We also painted Poppies to remember the soldiers who died during the war. The children were very respectful during our 2 minutes silence.
The Nursery children have also started Forest School this half term. They have enjoyed making clay hedgehogs, wands and exploring the school grounds.
The children have enjoyed learning about Christmas and have decorated the trees in Nursery. We have used small world resources to act out the Nativity Story and dressed up as Elves and Father Christmas in our role play area.
